Biaxial geogrids “RGС SD”
"RGС SD" polymeric geogrids are produced from high quality polypropylene, obtained by extrusion, with subsequent orientation of molecules in two directions. The material thus obtained is a solid rigid lattice structure with a square (rectangular) cells.
Reinforcing properties of the geogrid can be used in transport construction in the subgrade and the road pavement, and are exposed to high dynamic and static load.
Materials of various types with maximum strength from 20 to 45 kN/m can be used.
EFFECT OF THE MATERIAL APPLICATION:
• reinforcement of soil for increasing the stability of the subgrade;
• the possibility of reducing the thickness of the base layer of flexible pavement or increasing the life expectancy of the construction due to the improvement of strength properties and field-performance data;
• separation of layers materials of different groups (factions) that prevent their mixing;
• the improvement of the road pavement under the action of dynamic vibration loads due to the rigid structure of the cell material and high abrasion resistance of the geogrid;
• removing the tangential stresses from the underlying layers using geomaterial in the structure.
APPLICATIONS AREA OF “RGС SD” BIAXIAL GEOGRIDS:
• flexible road pavement by construction and reconstruction of all categories of highways;
• providing of temporary access roads;
• the improvement of sites under high static and dynamic loads;
• building on soft soil foundations.
