Polyester geocells “RGС”

Reinforcing polyester geocells "RGС" are produced by lacing the system of polyester threads arranged in longitudinal and transverse directions with the formation of rectangular cells, with subsequent covering with special speciation to improve characteristics of the material.

Materials of various brands with maximum strength from 55 to 162 kN/m can be used.

RGK geocells is a reinforcing material used in the upper pavement layers during construction, repair and reconstruction of roads, airfields, bridges and overpasses, reinforcing of weak foundations and in other geotechnical constructions.

EFFECT OF THE MATERIAL APPLICATION:

• can significantly reduce operating costs for the maintenance of roads due to increased turnaround time;
• reducing formation of ruts in areas with high traffic intensity;
• reduction of allocated area during the construction of high road subgrade;
• decreasing of imported inert materials;
• opportunity to use local soil for subgrade to provide general and local rigidity.

APPLICATIONS AREA OF “RGС” POLYESTER GEOCELLS:

• reinforcing of asphalt concrete on the roads;
• reinforcing of joints during broadening of different coatings on the linear and areal features;
• the improvement of sites under high static and dynamic loads;
• building on soft soil foundations;
• construction of the roadbed of transport and site infrastructure facilities with high steepness of slopes.
